Table of contents:
August brought a focused set of upgrades to the Boxopay white-label payment gateway: two new provider integrations, admin tools to safely complete edge-case orders, and infrastructure options for S3-based storage. We also delivered stability improvements that streamline day-to-day operations for administrators and their merchants.
Key highlights
New payment integrations
Integration with Sends
Boxopay now integrates with Sends, giving clients an additional provider option for processing online payments. The integration supports 3-D Secure, standard payment and refund flows, and automatic status synchronization. For administrators, this expands routing flexibility and redundancy, helping optimize performance without custom development. It sits alongside existing providers and can be used for added capacity or failover.
Integration with Neopay
Boxopay now supports Open Banking payments via Neopay, offering a fast one-stage redirect checkout with status synchronization. Administrators can present Neopay as an alternative payment method with a branded button and URL handoff, extending coverage across the Baltics and nearby markets.
Enhanced payment features
Card-to-card transfers via Azericard
Support for card-to-card transactions has been added to the Azericard integration, enabling projects in Azerbaijan to move funds card-to-card through the country’s primary processing network, opening additional payout and transfer scenarios for regional portfolios.
Apple Pay and Google Pay via Cartu Bank
Cartu Bank support has been expanded to accept Apple Pay and Google Pay wallet payments, improving mobile checkout and adding routing redundancy. Where issuer policy requires it, 3-D Secure can be enforced in routing — no custom development needed.
Improved merchant and admin experience
Per-order technical status notifications
Projects can now set a per-order status notification URL via API. It overrides the project default, appears in Order details, and is reused for follow-up actions (charge/refund) — improving incident handling and automation.
Safe completion tools for prepared orders
New admin actions help safely finish or resync edge-case payments that pause before completion. Retry completion finalizes eligible orders within the configured time window, while Synchronize order (for proxy flows) fetches the latest provider status and aligns it with the platform. Built-in safeguards prevent duplicate operations, making these actions useful for targeted incident resolution—not routine processing.
Bulk commission recalculation
For contracts that were misconfigured historically, a service utility now lets admins mass-recalculate commissions on previously created enrollments within a specified time range. This reduces manual bookkeeping and eliminates one-by-one corrections.
Platform and infrastructure updates
Amazon S3 storage for exports and images
You can now store export files and uploaded images in Amazon S3. New assets are saved to S3 automatically, and a built-in migration utility moves existing files in one run. The result is higher durability, less load on local storage, and simpler horizontal scaling for self-hosted deployments.
Minor updates and bug fixes
Alongside these changes, we shipped a series of refinements that smooth post-payment redirects, stabilize third-party payment flows, and improve monitoring and reconciliation across exports and refunds. Collectively, these updates reduce avoidable friction in checkout, strengthen operational visibility, and make everyday administration faster and more predictable.
