In May, Boxopay expanded payment coverage, card verification, and Open Banking controls in its white-label payment gateway. Key updates include new Paysafe and Nets integrations, enhanced Google Pay card-on-file support, and reporting improvements for merchant and admin workflows.

Key highlights

New payment integrations

Paysafe integration

Boxopay added a Paysafe integration for card payment authorization with 3-D Secure authentication. The integration supports both static and dynamic transaction descriptors.

Nets integration

Boxopay added a Nets integration for card payments. The integration supports regular authorization flows and Account Funding Transaction (AFT) scenarios.

Enhanced payment features

Expanded Google Pay card-on-file support

Google Pay support was expanded for card-on-file payments, where payment data is based on cards saved to a user’s Google Account. The update improves processing support for Google Pay card-on-file flows across selected payment integrations.

Configurable CVV requirements for Google Pay card-on-file payments

CVV validation can now be configured separately for Google Pay card-on-file operations. This gives projects and terminals more precise control over validation rules for wallet-based card flows.

Open Banking updates

Yapily bank selection on checkout

For Yapily Open Banking payments, checkout can now support country and bank selection on the payment page. The previous country-only flow remains available for backward compatibility.

Card verification updates

Card usage verification before payments and payouts

Boxopay added a card verification capability that can retrieve card usage information before payment or payout processing. The underlying statistics cover prior payments, refunds, chargebacks, credits, and last operation dates for the card.

Improved merchant and admin experience

Reporting and export improvements

Administrators can now export data from Analytics → Conversion. Merchant operation exports now also include decline reasons for declined operations.

Minor updates and bug fixes

Beyond the major releases, we shipped a set of fixes and small refinements across Google Pay handling, 3-D Secure method flows, webhook delivery, statistics filtering, reporting views and exports, limit configuration, Open Banking checkout assets, import tooling, refund handling, and masked merchant return URLs.
