September’s updates to Boxopay’s white-label payment gateway add new integrations, expand wallet and recurring payment capabilities, introduce new authentication data protection controls, and extend reconciliation and reporting workflows.
Key highlights
Payment integrations and features
Payswix integration
Boxopay added a new Payswix integration.
Card Scheme Gateway integration update
The Boxopay Card Scheme Gateway integration was updated to align with current card scheme requirements.
Expanded Apple Pay and Google Pay processing
Creditum added Apple Pay processing using decrypted payment data, while Moneris added the same flow for Apple Pay and Google Pay. Azer-Turk Bank (ATB) expanded its Apple Pay and Google Pay processing with two-step (authorization and capture) payments.
Recurring payment updates
The Halyk Bank ePay integration now supports recurring payments. The Worldline integration added support for the Mastercard Transaction Link Identifier (TLID), which links merchant-initiated transactions, such as recurring charges, to the original customer-initiated transaction.
Open Banking selection controls
Boxopay can now offer Open Banking terminals based on the order currency. For Yapily, checkout can also be restricted to banks in a single configured country.
Authentication and data protection
Authentication cryptogram protection
Boxopay added configurable encryption and masked storage for authentication cryptograms, alongside masking in logs, exports, and API responses. Automatic cleanup can remove encrypted cryptograms after authorization or order rejection and clear stored cryptograms that exceed their retention period.
Reconciliation and reporting
External merchant reconciliation
Boxopay can now receive external reconciliation files containing settlement data and match them against existing operations for merchants with direct acquiring agreements. Dedicated admin views provide access to operations matched through external reconciliation and related statistics, with protection against double counting across reconciliations. Separately, Boxopay added reconciliation for DECTA Gate settlement and chargeback files.
Scheduled merchant statistics exports
Statistics by merchant can now be exported automatically on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule, with optional delivery via SFTP. Scheduled exports cover the previous complete reporting period and can include totals plus separate files for selected card schemes and currencies.
Minor updates and bug fixes
September also brought smaller updates and fixes across payment integrations, reconciliation, reporting and exports, checkout, 3-D Secure handling, and the merchant and admin interfaces.
