March 2024 was a productive month for Boxopay, with six releases enhancing our payment gateway’s capabilities and integrations.

Key highlights

New Integrations

Bank of Baku

We’ve integrated with the Bank of Baku, a leading bank in Azerbaijan, to enhance local payment processing capabilities for merchants operating in the region.

Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) features were also customized for the specific needs of this project, providing more flexibility in payment options.

Virtpay

Virtpay, a versatile payment gateway, is now integrated with the Boxopay payment gateway. This enables merchants to process credit transactions and supports 3D Secure v2 for added security.

Cybersource

We’ve integrated with Cybersource, Visa’s payment gateway, offering merchants a secure and reliable payment processing solution. This integration broadens the range of payment gateways available on Boxopay, ensuring seamless transactions and enhanced fraud prevention.

Infrastructure and deployment improvements

We transitioned to a native docker compose plugin for application deployment, ensuring smoother updates and maintenance. Please note that Docker version 24.0.7 is required for these deployments.

System enhancements

Merchant reconciliation updates

Merchants can now access reconciliation statuses directly through the API, streamlining their financial tracking.

Minor updates and bug fixes

• Address display improvements in checkout API responses, enhanced card type detection, and updated security configurations.
• Various bug fixes were implemented, resulting in more accurate transaction processing, improved user interface reliability, and enhanced overall system stability.
