May 2024 featured four major releases for Boxopay, enhancing our gateway’s integration capabilities, security, and analytics. These updates also introduced new functionalities and fixed critical bugs, ensuring a seamless user experience for both merchants and administrators.
Key highlights
Integration with VisaNet Connect
We’ve integrated VisaNet Connect, further expanding payment processing options for our users.
Integration with Giropay via Emerchantpay
Boxopay now supports Giropay through Emerchantpay. This integration facilitates easy configuration and transaction processing with Giropay, making it a valuable addition for businesses targeting the German market.
Integration with Blik via Emerchantpay
Support for Blik has been introduced, enabling merchants to leverage this popular payment method in Poland, with easy setup and configuration.
Integration with QazPost
QazPost has been added as a new provider, allowing seamless payment processing in Kazakhstan. This integration also includes 3D-Secure support, enhancing transaction security.
PDF report generation
Boxopay now offers the ability to generate client reports in PDF format, streamlining document management and distribution.
Ability to upgrade MySQL to version 8
The Boxopay payment gateway now supports MySQL version 8, enabling administrators to benefit from enhanced performance, scalability, and improved security features. This upgrade ensures more efficient database management and better protection of sensitive data.
Minor updates and bug fixes
Expanded analytics
New analytics features now display turnover data segmented by issuer regions and card types, offering deeper insights into transaction patterns. Additionally, a new tab in the admin backoffice allows easy access to this data.
Enhanced security
The option to use signatures for script authenticity verification has been added, bolstering platform security. Additionally, multiple IP addresses can now be specified to restrict access to transactional APIs.
Improved user experience
The new checkout experience is now easily configurable, and merchants can now specify payment purposes for MasterCard transactions through the API or terminal settings.
Bug fixes
Some bug fixes implemented improve overall system reliability and reduce friction for users.
